3 Bedrooms • 2 Bathrooms 2 Baths • Sleeps 1-8Welcome to Harbor & Pine — a relaxed oceanfront cottage on Prospect Harbor in Gouldsboro, Maine, where the views feel almost unreal and the pace of life slows down the moment you arrive.
Located on Maine's Schoodic Peninsula, Harbor & Pine offers easy access to Acadia National Park's spectacular mainland section, where rugged granite shorelines, crashing surf, scenic overlooks, and coastal hiking trails await — without the crowds of Bar Harbor. Many visitors consider Schoodic one of Acadia's best-kept secrets, offering the same breathtaking beauty with a quieter, more authentic coastal Maine experience.

Set along the rugged Downeast coastline just minutes from Acadia National Park, this comfortable waterfront cottage was made for guests who want to experience the quieter, more authentic side of coastal Maine. Here, mornings begin with coffee overlooking the harbor, salty air drifting through the windows, and lobster boats heading out across the water. Evenings end with sunsets, stargazing, and the peaceful rhythm of the working harbor below.
The scenery here is hard to put into words — and honestly, the photos don’t fully capture it. The coastline changes by the hour with the tides, weather, boats, fog, and light. It’s the kind of place people stand quietly for a moment when they first walk outside.
The home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, including a private second-floor king suite and an additional king bedroom and full bath on the main floor for easy accessibility and comfortable main-level living.
Inside, the cottage feels welcoming and relaxed — thoughtfully prepared for guests to settle in and feel at home after long days exploring the coast. Large windows pull the ocean views indoors, while the surrounding pines and rocky shoreline give the home that unmistakable Maine cottage feeling.
Prospect Harbor itself is still a real working harbor, home to fishing boats, quiet roads, and one of Maine’s beautiful lighthouses nearby. It feels peaceful, grounded, and deeply connected to the coast.
Whether you're hiking Acadia, taking scenic drives along the shoreline, eating fresh lobster on a picnic table, or simply staying put to enjoy the view, Harbor & Pine is the kind of place that invites you to slow down and stay awhile.
